The Practice Team
Practice Manager
The practice manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the practice. She can
assist with any non-medical problems you may have and will be receptive to any suggestions
you may have.
Receptionists
Our team of receptionists are trained to deal with your needs. They make appointments, take
messages, deal with prescription requests and inform patients of test results when the doctor has
seen and approved them. All information is treated in complete confidence.
Practice Nurses
Mrs Martina Cullen RGN, BSc, Dip in General Practice, Dip in Diabetes Management and
Mrs June Scott SRN SCM.The practice nurses co-ordinate and run many of our specialist clinics
in conjunction with the doctors.
Treatment Room Nurses
They are available during normal surgery hours.
The treatment room is open from 9.00am to 12.45pm and 2.00 to 5.45pm Monday to Friday. Sometimes
you may be asked to attend at a specific time.
Down and Lisburn Trust employ the treatment room nurses and most of the attached staff who work from
within the health centre.
Attached Staff
Attached staff include district nurses, the health visitor, community psychiatric nurses
and a social worker. Referrals can also be arranged to chiropody, speech therapy,
physiotherapy, occupational therapy and dietician if appropriate.
