Vaccination Programme Update Posted on 22 Sep 2021

At the time of writing, we are expecting to have to vaccinate all over 50's and all those on the "at risk" registers for both flu and covid boosters at the same time.  We will be starting with the older age groups first from early October and will follow Health Board guidelines as to who we vaccinate and when, depending on when we receive the vaccine supplies.  Please do do not contact us to ask as you will receive an invite in the post.  It would be helpful if you could avoid asking to switch vaccination dates as we expect to have to vaccinate 4700 people which is an exercise in logistics.  Please remember that vaccinations not only protects you, it also helps prevent spread and disease among the more vulnerable groups.

COVID 2020

We have currently vaccinated over 2,500 patients in at risk groups at date of writing and we will be continuing to contact each group as per Health & Social Care Board instructions each week.  The number of patients we can call each week is limited by the small supply vaccine we get each week.

If you are age 50 or over and have not yet received a vaccine through us or through one of the Regional Vaccination Centre's, please phone the Surgery to obtain an appointment.
